A selection of my most significant races so far, in reverse order. All results show chip time.
Paphos Marathon
Paphos 2018 was my first ever marathon — and still the most memorable. Running along the Cypriot coast at sunrise, unsure if I’d make it, and crossing the finish line in a mix of pain and pure joy.
Paris Marathon
My comeback marathon after a four‑year break: Paris, where every kilometre reminded me why I fell in love with running, on the most beautiful course I’ve ever done.
Paris Marathon
My second marathon in Paris came after long months of preparation. Everything was in place — until a heavy dinner the night before turned race day into a tough lesson in nutrition.
Trier Half Marathon
I run half‑marathon distance quite often, sometimes even a couple of times per month, so I’m sharing just one official result: Trier, where I set my personal best.
Amsterdam Marathon
Amsterdam is one of the marathons I love most — and yes, I’ve done it twice. A flat, fast course with smooth roads and a great atmosphere: ideal if you’re chasing a personal best.
Amsterdam Marathon
Amsterdam gave me my current personal best. It was one of those races where the preparation, the course, and the day all came together, and I finished both tired and smiling.
Paris Marathon
Another Paris marathon, another attempt at a personal best — and another lesson in patience. The time didn’t come, but I still enjoyed every kilometre. Paris is always a good idea.
Rund um Koln
My debut cycling event: Rund um Köln Velodrome 60. I finished 60 km with an average speed of 28 km/h — and discovered I love this.
Schleck Gran Fondo
Schleck Medio Fondo: 82 km through Luxembourg’s countryside, where every climb was rewarded with a view and every descent felt like a reward.
TriHard Rotterdam
Rotterdam was my first ever triathlon. To be honest, I was petrified in the minutes before the start — but just seconds after the gun went off, I found myself smiling and actually enjoying it.
Ironman 70.3 Remich
My first Ironman 70.3 came with a lot of doubt. I didn’t feel fully ready, and racing in +35°C with almost no shade made it even more intimidating. Still, I crossed the finish line, and it turned into one of the most incredible experiences of my sporting life. (Small note: the swim was unfortunately cancelled.)
